Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the oil and lukewarm water. Stir with a wooden spoon until the mixture comes together, then knead with your hands until smooth and elastic.
  2. Divide the dough into two equal portions and roll each into a ball. Lightly dust a work surface with flour and roll out each dough ball into a thin circle, approximately 28cm (11in) in diameter.
  3. Heat a dry frying pan over high heat. Place one wrap in the pan and cook for 30 seconds, pressing lightly to help it puff up. Flip and cook for another 20 seconds. Repeat with the second wrap. Set aside.
  4. In a saucepan, heat the beans and chopped chicken over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through (about 3–4 minutes).
  5. Spoon the hot bean and chicken mixture down the center of each tortilla. Sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese. Fold in the short sides, then roll up tightly to form a burrito.
  6. Enjoy warm on a plate or wrap in foil for an easy grab-and-go meal!
